1. INTRODUCTION & BINDING AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Green Carat website, digital platforms, and the purchase of any luxury diamond jewelry or services offered by us. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are strictly prohibited from using our services or purchasing our products.

2. PRODUCTS, PRICING, & AVAILABILITY

• Inventory & Display: All jewelry products are subject to availability. Because we work with high-grade, certified diamonds and precious metals, items may occasionally go out of stock or experience production delays. We make every effort to display product details and imagery accurately, but minor variations may occur.
• Pricing Adjustments: Prices for our products are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product or service without liability. All prices displayed are inclusive or exclusive of applicable local taxes as legally required by your shipping destination.

3. ORDERS & SECURE PAYMENTS

• Order Confirmation: An order is officially confirmed and a binding contract is formed only after successful payment authorization and our issuance of an electronic order confirmation notice.
• Payment Methods: We accept all major, secure payment processors at checkout. Your financial credentials are tokenized and processed securely through authorized third-party payment gateways; Green Carat does not store raw credit card or banking data on its servers.
• Order Cancellation Rights: Green Carat reserves the absolute right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, suspected fraudulent transactions, pricing errors, or restrictions on shipping destinations.

4. SHIPPING, DELIVERY, & TRANSIT RISK

• Timelines: Delivery timelines vary depending on the destination (domestic vs. international) and the selected courier service. Estimated arrival dates are approximations and not guaranteed.
• High-Value Transit & Signature: Due to the premium value of our diamond jewelry, all shipments require a direct adult signature upon delivery. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you immediately upon the courier logging the package as "Delivered" with a verified signature.

5. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, & REFUNDS

• Decoupled Policy: Returns and exchanges are governed by our separate, region-specific Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy (specifying a 7-day window for domestic Indian deliveries and a 30-day window for international deliveries).
• Condition Requirements: Returned items must be unused, unworn, and in their pristine original condition with all security tags, packaging, and diamond authenticity certificates fully intact. Custom-made or engraved items are strictly non-refundable.

6. RING SIZE & CUSTOM ORDERS

• Sizing Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the correct ring size is selected before placing an order. While we may offer resizing services subject to availability and separate fees, sizing adjustments are not automatically covered under standard returns.
• Custom Orders: Personalized, engraved, or made-to-order custom jewelry pieces are final sale and non-refundable unless they arrive structurally defective or damaged.

7. WARRANTY & AUTHENTICITY

• Certified Quality: All diamonds provided by Green Carat are certified by recognized gemological authorities and undergo rigorous multi-point quality inspections prior to dispatch.
• Manufacturing Defect Coverage: Our products are backed by a limited warranty against structural manufacturing defects. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss of stones caused by external impact, or damage resulting from unauthorized third-party jewelry alterations.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PROHIBITED USE

All website content, designs, text, graphics, logos, and imagery are the exclusive property of Green Carat and protected by international intellectual property laws. You are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, reproducing, or commercially exploiting any material without our explicit written authorization.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Green Carat’s total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of your use of our website or products shall be strictly capped at the purchase price of the specific product in dispute. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Green Carat and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of your primary jurisdiction of residence or our corporate headquarters as applicable. Any formal disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration or within the competent courts designated for your region, expressly waiving class-action rights.
